NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION PROGRAM
(NSP)
The program's goal is to redevelop foreclosed properties that might otherwise become sources of blight within the Macomb "Urban County". This program is funded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and is authorized under Title III of the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008.
Interest Free Loans and Grants are available to eligible applicants, dependent upon their income eligibility as listed below, to assist in the purchase and rehabilitation of previously foreclosed, abandoned homes in the Macomb "Urban County". Home buyers receiving assistance must reside in the purchased home as their primary residence. It is important that eligible applicants submit their application as soon as possible.
