Teens @ the Library
This year we are starting an advisory board of young adults for the library. What that means is we are interested in what young adults have to say about the library. You’ll have meetings, plan teen programs, start other clubs, shop for library books, and more! Ages 11 and up (or Grade 6 and up) are welcome! Sorry parents, this group is for young adults and library staff only! Our first meeting will take place on:

Volunteer @ the Library
If you love the Center Line Public Library and want to get involved, call Heather at 586-758-8275 to discuss volunteer opportunities. Projects large and small need your help!
Also consider joining the Friends of the Center Line Library group. The Friends are approaching their 20 Year Anniversary of supporting the library. With book sales, bake sales, and membership dues, the Friends help support library programs like Summer Reading and Children’s Parties that might not otherwise be possible. Thank you Friends!
Adults $10 Seniors $5 Students (all ages) $3
Storytime @ the Library
We have two different times for story time at the Center Line Public Library. Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. or Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. Most stories and crafts are geared toward 3-4 year olds; however, all ages are welcome! The first stages of learning to read include learning how to turn the pages of books and reading from left to right—babies can learn this too!

Donating Used Books to the Center Line Library?
We accept books in good condition. These are put into circulation or given to the Friends of the Library for the annual book sale. Needed are recent hardcover best-sellers, cookbooks, westerns, science fiction, dictionaries, or children's books.
We are also looking for Center Line area history and/or pictures and Center Line school yearbooks for our archives collection.
Please wait until after the February 20th Book Sale to donate any used books. We are not accepting any donations at this time.
Did You Know?
Monetary donations to the library are tax deductible! Library materials purchased with your donations are a great way to commemorate a special event, such as the birth of a child, a wedding, or an anniversary. We put a plaquet in every book with the name of the person honored, and the name of the person who made the donation. It's a great way to celebrate a first library card too!
Remembrance Tree
On the brick wall at the library a ‘Remembrance Tree’ recognizes contributions of $100 or more to the Center Line Library. A leaf on the tree is filled in with the donor’s name or the name of a loved one in whose memory the gift is being made.
The tree was donated in memory of Theresa Pegan by her children.
If you would like to make a donation, contact the library at 586-758-8274 for more information.
