Brush pick up is done on Wednesdays. If you have any branches, trim limbs or large brush that needs to be picked up please place it on the easement along the curb. The city's truck will be by to put these items through the shredder. We ask that brush and tree limbs be placed with ends facing in the same direction. All other items which fit into brown kraft yard waste bags will be picked up by Rizzo Services on your regular solid waste pick up day. Yard Waste is picked up only from April 1st to November 30th of each year.

To apply for a Center Line Library card, you must live in the city of Center Line or own property in the city. If you are employed in the city or attend school in the city, you are eligible for a courtesy library card. You must present a valid State-issued photo ID for a library card. Courtesy cards require additional ID in the form of a paystub or school issued ID. If you have an existing library crd from any city in Macomb County, Troy or Harper Woods, your card will work at the Center Line Library.

Yes, there are 10 computers for the public. You need your library card number and PIN to log on. The Library also has one iPad that is designated for the library catalog (no log in required).
No. We currently issue guest passes to people outside of our service area with proper ID, one per day for 30 minutes. There will be a $1 charge for guest passes.

Your card may be expired, you may have a fine, or you may not have the correct PIN. The clerks at the circulation desk can help you figure it out with your proper ID.
Tax forms are available in the Library lobby from usually the end of January through April. Forms are also available online for federal taxes or state taxes.
Yes, your Center Line Library card will work at all libraries in Macomb County and also at the Troy Public Library and the Harper Woods Public Library because we all belong to the library cooperative called the Suburban Library Cooperative.
No. Every library has different requirements for issuing library cards because libraries are funded mostly by local taxes. However, you are able to borrow items from most libraries in the state through MeLCat which is a federally funded program through the State of Michigan. Visit the Michigan eLibrary website to have items sent directly to your home library or ask a librarian to help you. Or you can get a MILibraryCard sticker for your library card that will allow you to visit other participating libraries in the state and borrow print materials. Bus tickets are only available at City Hall. Bus schedules are available at the Library (7345 Weingartz Street), the Recreation Building (25355 Lawrence Avenue), or City Hall (7070 East Ten Mile Road).
The charge for printing is $0.15 per page for black and white copies and $.50 for color pages printed at the copy machine. The Library does not have a color printer but you can print files via USB at the copy machine.

Our game room has:
Residents 18 and over must present valid identification. Adult residents and high school students with school ID may use the pool tables. No one under the age of ten will be allowed in the game room. A wide range of board and activities are available to all ages. If you have any questions please call the Rec Center at 586-757-1610.
You do not have to be a Center Line resident to rent our facility. Valid identification is needed to reserve the rooms along with a $50 deposit. The balance is due 30 days prior to the party. The game room is available for an additional fee.
Rooms are available to rent from September through May. Call 586-757-1610 for availability during June, July and August.
Pavilions are available for residents and non-residents. Fees are $50 during the week. Weekend fees are $75 for residents and non-profit organizations. $100 for non-residents and corporate groups. Valid identification with current address must be presented in order to reserve a pavilion. Payment in full is due at the time of rental.
We will begin taking reservations for Center Line residents on February 1 each year and throughout the summer. Pavilion rentals will open up to non-residents on May 1.

You should receive your water (utility) bill on or about the 1st of the even months (February, April, June, August, October & December).
Payment is due, without penalty, 30 days after the bill date. If a due date for a water bill falls on a weekend or holiday, the due date will be the next business day.
Penalty for past due water bills is 5% of the billing cycle balance.
For accounts that are more than 30 days past due, a shut off notice may be sent.
Once you receive a shutoff notice, you have 30 days from the print date to pay your past due balance. Failure to pay by the due date will result in a door hanger being delivered to your property for final notice to pay. Failure to pay by the date on the door hanger will result in shut off of your water service.
