BEAUTIFICATION COMMISSION
The Center Line Beautification Commission currently has 21 members. If you would like to join, contact City Hall at (586) 757-6800.
We have planted flowers along the entrance from Van Dyke onto Warren Blvd, Lawrence at Ten Mile, the sign at Parks and Recreation and the Library and around City Hall and the Public Safety Dept.
We also maintain the gazebo on Van Dyke near Shoppers Market and the corner of 7-Eleven at Stephens and Van Dyke.
The Beautification Commission is currently looking for someone to possibly donate their time to power wash and stain the gazebo. They would also entertain the idea of paying someone to do the work, depending on the cost. You can submit a written estimate at City Hall, please note on the envelope that it is an estimate for power washing and staining the gazebo.
We will gladly take your donation of perennial flowers or money to aid us in keeping Center Line Beautiful. You may drop these items off at City Hall.
The Beautification Commission is looking for people, groups or individuals to plant and care for one of the established gardens around the city. Some of the areas we help maintain are "The Clock" at Van Dyke & Englemand, Parks & Recreation Sign, Warren Blvd & Van Dyke. Contact City Hall (586-757-6800) and leave a message and someone from the Beautification Commission will call you back.
